Very Lucky Circumstances

When the series ended I was pretty happy with it as far as the method with which Voldemort was destroyed. The Battle of Hogwarts was epic and did not disappoint, it was bloody and a lot of people were dying which made it realistic in my eyes. Even Lupin and Tonks died leaving an orphaned child, J.K. wasn’t messing around. I was especially happy and actually laughed out loud when Mrs. Weasley said “Not my daughter you bitch!” then proceeded to kill Bellatrix which we all wanted to happen since learning she tortured Neville’s parents. One moment that had me thinking was when Neville pulled the sword of Gryffindor out of the Sorting Hat and killed Nagini. I was happy that Neville pulled it out making him a true Gryffindor and truly completing his transformation from a bumbling idiot, however I thought Griphook had run off with the sword at Gringott's, but I guess a true Gryffindor needed it so it appeared.
The biggest problem I had was probably the manner with which Harry found out he was supposed to let Voldemort destroy the piece of his own soul which resided inside of Harry. It was incredibly lucky that they saw Snape in time to get the pensieve; they got it as he lay dying. Also the fact that Snape was able to stay alive to give the pensieve to them was fortunate. Instead of Voldemort using his favorite killing curse “Avada kedavra” which kills the victim instantly, he let Nagini kill him which meant Snape could lay there alive for a while longer to give Harry the pensieve. Though I am glad Harry got the pensieve and found out the truth behind Snape’s actions which showed he was on the good side, I just felt that the circumstances were kind of a stretch.
