Blog #3

Like most people my age, I grew up with Harry Potter. I grew as the characters grew. I believe J.K. Rowling wrapped up the series perfectly. I still get the chills, giggles and cry whenever I finish reading the last book. It brings out every emotion I could think of. The more I read the novels, the more amazed I am of Snape’s love, Neville’s bravery, Dumbeldore’s actions and Voldemort’s death. The love that the characters have for each other, even if they do hide it for their whole life is incredible, and brings light to the novel. Also, it shows that good does triumph evil in the end, even if it ends lives, in the end, the good triumphed.
In some ways, it makes me sad that the series is over, I looked forward to reading the books and seeing the lives of the characters progress. But in other ways, now I can go back and pick up the books and reread them and just be amazed how all things tie together and how beautifully it was written.
